Data Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Data Policy explains how Virtual TryOn handles personal images and related try-on data. Because users upload photos of themselves, we treat those images as sensitive personal content.
This page works together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What personal image data we process
- Photos you upload to your Library for try-on.
- Selected person images used in a try-on job.
- Generated try-on result images linked to your account.
- File metadata such as file name, size, mime type, and upload time.
2. Why we process personal photos
We process your photos only to provide the product you asked for:
- Store your Library so you can reuse photos.
- Combine your photo with a garment image for AI virtual try-on.
- Show and save the generated result in your account.
- Support account security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
We do not sell your personal photos. We do not use them for advertising profiles.
3. Where images are stored
Uploaded photos and try-on results are stored on our application servers under your account. Access is protected by login. Other users cannot browse your Library.
4. When images are shared with AI providers
When you start a try-on, the selected person photo and garment image are sent to the AI provider you choose (for example Replicate or FASHN) so the result can be generated.
- Sharing happens only when you generate a try-on.
- Provider processing follows that provider’s own privacy and data terms.
- We recommend uploading only photos you are comfortable using for this purpose.
5. Your control and deletion
- You can delete individual Library photos from the dashboard.
- You can delete try-on jobs and result images from Try-On history.
- Deleting a photo removes it from your Library storage when deletion succeeds.
- For full account deletion or help removing remaining data, contact [email protected].
6. Retention
We keep uploaded photos and try-on results while your account is active and the files remain saved. If you delete content, we remove it from active storage. Backup copies may exist for a limited recovery window before permanent purge.
7. What you should not upload
- Photos of other people without their permission.
- Photos of minors without lawful authority and consent.
- Illegal, abusive, or non-consensual imagery.
- Images you do not have rights to use.
8. Security practices
We use authenticated access, server-side storage controls, and standard security measures. Still, no online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and log out on shared devices.
9. Contact
